Shared rates and thresholds
If you run a chain with the same rules everywhere: Team → Payroll → 🔗 Shared (the tab appears once you have more than one company). Set the barista rate, percentage and helper rates once and save. Below is a list of EVERY company where you are the owner, each with a toggle: switch it on and that company attaches to the profile.
One rule covers everything: a company's own value always beats the shared one. Shared values only fill in what a company left blank (and a blank field in the shared rates themselves means "this rate is not shared at all").

💡 Detaching a company from the shared profile is safe — the values do not reset to zero, they get copied into the company as its own.
FAQ
Are companies the same as venues?
No. A venue is inside a company; a company is a separate Poster account with its own token. For venues within one company, see the "How to connect your company" guide.
Can one company see another's numbers?
No, company data is fully separated. The exception is a combined view in some finance reports ("All companies" in break-even): it simply lists each company as its own row, without mixing the numbers.
Does an invited admin see all of the owner's companies?
No, only the ones they were specifically invited to as admin. The owner's other companies simply do not exist for them.
